Little Greek takes great pride in serving the best, freshly-sourced, local produce. Our kitchen staff prepares our menu items from scratch daily. We only use the highest quality ingredients, and it shows through the loyalty of our customers. We deliver a high quality restaurant experience at a great value.

Our Founding Partner, Sigrid Bratic, honed her cooking skills in her home country of Estonia, a beautiful country on the Baltic Sea between Finland and Russia.  After operating local eateries in her native land, Sigrid followed her dream of moving to the United States, and visited Clearwater and the surrounding areas in Florida.  While in Florida, she began looking for an opportunity to open a business here.  Ultimately, she found a small Greek restaurant for sale in Palm Harbor, Florida, and in June of 2004 she bought the struggling store.  Renaming the restaurant from Happy Greek to Little Greek Restaurant, Sigrid began focusing on delicious, freshly prepared, healthy Greek dishes, and managed to more than triple sales over a 7-year period.

During his 12-year tenure as President of Beef O’Brady’s, Nick Vojnovic helped grow the company from 30 mostly Tampa area locations to a chain of 270 stores in 23 states.  After a private equity firm acquired Beef’s, Nick took a year off to pursue his MBA degree, and began looking for other opportunities to fulfill his entrepreneurial spirit.  He looked at well over 100 different concepts before being introduced to Sigrid by another restaurant franchising executive.  The combination of tasty, healthy food in an emerging Greek/Mediterranean segment was exactly what he was looking for - and having a great Founding Partner made the deal even better!  On April 27th, 2011, the two signed a partnership agreement with the goal of franchising Little Greek Restaurants throughout Tampa and beyond.  Today there are 5 locations, with 3 more scheduled to open by early 2012 (Tampa/Westchase, USF/Fowler Ave. and 4th St. in St. Petersburg).
